Mentor Hours is a series of pre-scheduled, 1-hour meetings between our high-level attendees and startups.
As the exclusive Mentor Hours sponsor your brand will be the center of our Mentor Hours program at Collision and you will be afforded the opportunity to have 20 mentors involved in the Mentor Hours program.
Mentor Hours will be referred to as:
Example: Mentor Hours supported by AWS
Each Mentor donates 1-hour of their time coaching eight startups. Each mentoring section relates to a track that focuses on one of the key challenges startups face. The tracks are as follows:
– This track is about sharing your personal experience in leadership, strategy, entrepreneurship and hiring.
– This track focuses on how you would approach marketing, building brand awareness, and customer acquisition.
– This track focuses on sharing your knowledge on product development. This could be on how to attract developers and scaling up.
– This track is designed for startups to ask tough questions around funding options, global expansion, and budget management.
The Collision team works to match the industry and topic preferences of startups with the mentors they could benefit from meeting the most.
Startups participating in Mentor Hours select a track based on the key challenges they are facing and that provides them with the most beneficial information going forward.
We then focus on our mentors, looking at their attendee profile, industry expertise and interests.
This information is then shared with our data science team who use an algorithm in matching the most suitable mentors and startups.
The Collision team will be in contact at the beginning of April to confirm the chosen date and time. We will require all mentors to respond and confirm their participation for Mentor Hours.
One week prior to the event we will send more details about each startup including information about the startup track, industry and the challenges they are facing. If more information is required the mentors have the option to be introduced via e-mail to each of the startups.
We would recommend preparing some key talking points based on this information, however it is entirely up to you on how you would like to structure the meeting.
